It was second rainy day in the row. The only workout we can do is walking, but rain, and rain, and rain… Checked the map on theweathernetwork.com, the rain goes around Cambridge. So, this time we went to Shade’s Mills Conservation Area to check it out.The park lays on the north shore of the lake which is in fact man built reservoir on the Mill Creek. The park opened the whole year around.
The park has long sandy beach, clean and calm now:
Shade’s Mills is a fisher dream with boat rent, pontoons, boat ramp and a lot of hidden places for fishing.
There are four trails in the park. We went through the part of orange one and whole dark blue and saw the lake from above and different types of forest.
It’s our first but for sure not last visit of this hidden place.
